Had a great game against Pitt

It seems we’re are starting to get involved with players that make more sense and we might have a shot at.

I am currently encouraged by our recruiting efforts,

I would like to see only one open scholarship by months end. That would be ideal.

Lets get competitive (.500) next season. We need to be that in order to build from there.

Agreed. It likely needs to be a step by step build. I know hoops allows for a quicker turnaround but I don’t think Pitt is likely to pull that off.

Pitt was a few bounces away from .500 this year and largely competitive. I know a few panic posters about not having any commitments, but if they truly get a Reid commit, well quality over quantity any day, particularly if they feel Champ will return in the end. Plug and play per se. Horton and Nike have been pretty solid transfers. Not top tier, but solid. I trust the process and like Santos as well.

Let's get Harrar and have our muscle at the five spot. Not even sure he is an option at this point as I've heard zilch since Capel reached out to him.

Do you think it should take 7-8 years to go from 0-19 to the NCAAT?

In college hoops, you need a PG, a wing, a big, and a good coach. That's it. 3 guys and a good coach and you're in. As bad as we have been, Johnson and Toney were sufficient. Had we had a Big, we would have been a NCAAT team the last 2 (if there was one)

No. I don’t. I think it was going in the right direction. Then with whatever drama and Hugley’s legal problems it hit a wall and blew up.

My main point is that we’re not in a position to attract the big transfer targets and don’t believe we would have even without all the current issues.

I'm sure Capel is happy to hear that you are feeling better now....

Seriously, Bickerstaff would be a quality addition to the front court.

Coming from the guy who insisted Capel’s first team would consist of rec league guys...
