A Sunday morning thought on the safeties

I'm working on some of our position previews on the safeties this morning, and I had this thought:

Javon McIntyre and Stephon Hall both signed with Pitt in the class of 2021, and they were among the less-heralded recruits in that class. But the future looks pretty bright for both of them, with McIntyre pretty much locked into a starting job and Hall on the two-deep with a good chance to play quite a bit this season.

P.J. O'Brien was in that class, too, and he's probably going to start next to McIntyre, so it was a pretty good class for safeties (Donovan McMillon was in that class as well, although he went to Florida). But it's interesting to me that McIntyre and Hall, in particular, didn't really have much buzz when they committed and signed. Now they seem to be on the verge of productive careers at Pitt.
