A win is a win, so happy with that. We had a lot of good play from several players,
but at the same time these same players were error prone, especially after we built a
15 pt. lead in the second half. Their press didn't force us into a lot of turnovers, but it
definitely got us out of our game.
-Frame did nothing in the first half, but in the second he went hard to the hoop and
got physical, and got his game back. If he doesn't do this we lose.
-Luther was on and off all game. Had his shot blocked down low, threw up an air ball,
but like the others, had a lot of good moments, especially on the boards.
-Carr was our best player all night, but he too made a number of glaring errors.
-Davis had his best game, and I'm seeing real improvement with him. He even hit
two threes.
-Stevenson was his usual self, physical, takes it to the hole hard.
-Parker hit a three when they went to a zone for a few minutes. Other than that,
nothing else.
-Chukukwa, a raggedy game for him, but I see potential .
In the meantime WVU took down UVA in Morgantown. WVU's press is downright
scarey. I don't even want to think about what their guards are going to do to us this
coming Saturday. Hopefully Huggy shows some mercy.
