ACC destroyed the SEC yesterday

FSU killed florida,
Clemson over south Carolina
Louisville over Kentucky
3-9 Georgia Tech almost beat 9-3 Georgia
Same as last year! The ACC footprint is bigger than SEC and has more Private Schools, and why ND will join the ACC after seeing what happen yesterday. The Road to CFB Playoffs is going through Conferences.

Many say the CFB Playoffs won't expand to 6 or 8 Teams for at least 8 to 10 years, but that could change in my opinion.

OU getting in will not make Big-12 expand either and now they may quiet down on wanting expansion.

ND would make the ACC much more attractive. I wonder who comes with them...An ambitious up & comer like Temple or someone more established.

I still like this wish lists for 16th team or some day 18? Not impossible but not probable either.

1. Texas (NP) Not Probable
2. Penn State (NP)
3. WVU (NP)
4. Navy
5. Temple
6. UCincy
7. Houston
8. Memphis
9. UConn
10. SMU
11. UTenn (NP)
12. Vanderbilt (NP)

Why would ND join a conference? They make a ton of money and are in the Playoff discussion.
One day the CFB will include the winners of the Power Conferences and being a member will make it easier.

ND lost yesterday, they are no longer in any CFB Discussion, even if others lose the next games too. The Teams with1 loss and win the Conference Championship will be ahead of them this year and there are too many for ND to jump over!

Far cry from when someone posted at 12:30 that the ACC was getting pounded.

Well they are in the playoff discussion but even with a win last nite they would not have been in the playoffs. There will be 4 conference champs [counting Oklahoma] with zero or one loss and those 4 will be your playoff teams. And if ND had beaten Stanford they would have been 5th. But they are not going to join the ACC til it becomes their last resort.

Pure speculation. That's like using the law of association to say a team is better than another.

ACC has been performing on the field, and producing a lot of NFL talent to boot.

Not surprised at all. Clemson, well they're the #1 team in the country. The most surprising thing was probably that they didn't win by more. It's an odd, rare season if Kentucky has better players than Louisville. Louisville has mad much more success in recent times, and are a much better team, better program, and actually are headed in the right direction. As for Georgia Tech, well not that they're good, but they've got to be the best 3 win team of all time. I mean you can't ever say a 3 win team is good, but they did just go to the ACC Championship Game last year. They have a ton of talent, they even beat FSU, very bizarre how bad they actually were this year. And FSU/Florida, well I really just don't think much of Florida at all. Weakest 10 win team I've ever seen.

The ACC is 3-4 against the SEC this year. And just in case people haven't noticed, the SEC is atrocious this year.
Thank you for that correction, SEC has a few advantage over other conferences they do not follow any Freshmen Eligibility Rules, saying they have a DOJ Agreement on past Discrimination. Some Schools in SEC like Ole Miss & Missy State has to accept any High School Student that graduates from that state. This cannot happen at any ACC School many that are Private that have Academic Requirements.

They also have far larger Rosters than many ACC Schools that are smaller and cannot afford more Non-Scholarships Walk-Ons and 4th-5th Year Role Players.

At the same time, to SEC Credit, they have more Schools with Fans & Boosters that demand Excellence and 10+ Winning games almost every year, and will pay Coaches Top Dollars to do it! There are Schools in the ACC just fine with 8 to 9 wins every year and the ACC has way more Private and Semi-Private Schools than any Power Conference.

Last year the ACC were just 5-3 against SEC. First time since 2003 they beat SEC Teams.

Haha and the Penn state chimes in with negativity. By the way, that has zippo to do with the ACC dominating the SEC this weekend.
You people are such losers

Two games were played in the first week. Auburn was #6 and beat Louisville. USC would NOT beat NC now. #8 LSU beat a terrible Syracuse. In rivalry week this past week the ACC was 3-1. In rivalry games you can throw out the records because no matter how bad you are, you will play tough. See 13-9.

To see how far the ACC has come, or was forced to overcome. The preseason polls had three SEC teams in the top ten which included Auburn and Georgia and eight teams in the top 25 which included Ole Miss, Arkansas, Missouri, and Tennessee. The ACC had Only FSU in the top ten, unless you want to count Notre Dame, and two other teams in the top 25 including Georgia Tech.

Fast forward to this week the ACC has the number one team overall and two others in the top ten, three if you want to count Notre Dame. North Carolina is number 8 and it took the voters 11 weeks to even rank them. Meanwhile of all the SEC teams that were ranked preseason, only Alabama is in the top ten and Ole Miss and LSU are the only other SEC teams left in the top 25.

The polls are a JOKE.

The ACC is 3-4 versus the SEC. Let's see what the record is after the bowl games and playoffs.

When the games are played is irrelevant.

When the games are played is NOT irrelevant. A lot of things happen during the course of a season.

Have enough games been played yet? I loved watching that terrible, coach-less Georgia team ped-slapping those Nitters.

The ACC isnt expanding without ND or a blue blood like Texas or OU which isnt likely.

If ND ever decides to join the ACC, they would probably bring Navy with them as a football-only and maybe Georgetown as their all-sports replacement.
