ACC Money is making its way to the PITT campus

Many of these improvements would have never occurred if we were still in the Big East. There is still part of me that does miss that league in football. Outside of WVU the best teams in the Big East ended up in the ACC in the end.

The late 90s, early 00s Big East football with Top 5 Miami and VT programs and Top 25ish Pitt, WVU, O'Brien BC, and early Pasqualoni Syr was an awfully good, fun league. 6 of the 8 teams were of good quality and everyone got 2 automatic Ws in Temple and RU.

Seems like the Big East was on ESPN Saturday night all the time. I used to love those games with Ron Franklin and Mike Gottfried doing the game with Adrian Karsten or Jerry Punch on the sidelines. Funny that it seems Pitt had more night games back then.
