Heather Lyke laid it out yesterday during her impromptu press conference that she held before the bowl game. If you look at her quotes regarding next season it will be a make or break year for Pitt and HCPN.
"We have a lot of potential. There is a tremendous opportunity next season. The schedule tees up pretty well. We’re excited about what’s to come next year."
- She already expects the team to do better next year based off the fact that we have a much easier schedule.
"But I think there's a tremendous amount of talent coming back and a real opportunity to make an impact next season. Finish some games, eliminate some penalties, do some things [differently] that we were all disappointed in in many ways, him included."
- Also saying coach you have a lot of returning starters next year and you have a very good defense that should allow you to win 9-10 games next year. She isn't happy with all of the penalties especially after seeing what transpired after the game and the stupid personal foul penalties for celebrating. This all falls on the coach not effectively communicating the correct message to his players, or they are flat out ignoring him.
Narduzzi has his marching orders on what he needs to do to be retained and ADHL laid out to the public on what this is.
