it's a lot more cumbersome IMO. And with this format there is no way to really get a reply across that anyone will notice or read, unless they bother to read the whole thread.

This is a significant downgrade.

I agree. I will try to work w it but before I knew who said what and it was easier to respond to a particular comment.

It automatically quotes who you are replying to. How would they miss it. The irony of your statement about you have to read the whole thread as a possible issue kind of stands in direct conflict to the definition of a thread.

And it will help with your carpal tunnel since you won't have to click om each reply and can scroll through every reply quickly.

It is simply not as user friendly
Yeah, this is 100% wrong. it has every feature thread view has and a lot more. It auto quotes so you know who the reply is too. It automatically loads the page to the last post you viewed. You don't have to keep clicking to load each message. It now auto embeds videos and tweets. Just because it's not coded for 1999 anymore doesn't mean it's not user friendly. EVERY modern message board aside from rivals got rid of thread view years ago. If it wasn't user friendly it wouldnt have survived. Give the boards a chance

Hang in there "thebadby2" ..... as you get used to it, the new format will become more friendly.

Tough crowd. Day 2 and I'm starting to dig it. I'm not one that always embraces change easily either. I still don't like ESPN's new site.

The most shocking recent turn of events is not that Heron decided to look elsewhere. It's that people not only used, but actually liked, the thread format.
