Addison

With him and Barden they should upgrade the WR position .
Henningham some have as a WR and some DB, same with DeShields.
Anyone like to take a guess who plays what and how quick ?

Would imagine that will depend on how they perform once that get here and where they are determined to be needed the most. Early enrollment will likely help, too. Also could depend on some things like further attrition w/r/t numbers at either WR or DB with guys like Henningham and DeShields.

Henningham will get a look at WR (probably part of his recruitment) then move to S where HCPN likes him.
Barden WR will redshirt he is too small. Addison will play 5 games at kickoff return.
DeShields promised a shot as WR (recruiting) will move to LB so he can be a stud there at the Money position.

I don't see any freshman from this class starting..... I look more for Dennis, Wayne, Woods, & Hill to make bigger contributions. Offense will be same with TE replacements and maybe Van Lynn at a tackle spot.

I don't see this as a "knock" on the recruits, but more of an overall increase in roster talent the last few years.

Hayes may be plugged into Jones' spot--he's that good--pending Jones' NFL report. May be better than Baldo already and a rehabbed Weaver. But you're right, gonna be tough to start. Good reflection of recent roster upgrade. Glowing remarks about Mack's hitting and style. Coachspeak, perhaps.

Barden will play. Unlike a lot of Pitt receivers, he is a true receiver.

The guy is smooth and polished, will have 50 catches and 5 TDs next season.

He is now following on twitter the entire class coming in so at this point you would have to think yes

Donald, Davis, Ford and there is a local safety that is three stars but great size too. If we can pull Davis out of Gateway this defense will be insanely good. Who else from western PA? Seems like a good year

We are not getting Davis.
If I could pick 2, I’d pick Donald and Johnson, don’t get me wrong. Of Davis doesn’t want to stay home in a top 10 defense and pile up stats and be a top draft pick so be it. He is a Michigan State legacy, so you’d think they have a good shot, but according to O’Brien he thought Pitt is still in his top 5, and that guy is right quite ofteb

Are you referring to Macmillan from Peter's Twp?

I agree Gary. Addison will play too, not as polished as Barden but looks like another playmaker. Reminds me of Ffrench.
