During this pandemic, I've seen very little about the age of coaches and how that will affect the way teams operate. Mack Brown is 68, and so is Nick Saban. If they become infected, their risk is a heck of lot higher than coaches in their 40's. Because of this, do they have to change the way they operate?
During practices, they can always coach from a tower overlooking the field. But what do they do on game day?
Coaches tend to be egotistical, so most of them will ignore the risks and coach the way they normally do. But if you already had a national championship ring like Brown, would you risk your life to rebuild a program?
