- Davidson beat St. Bonaventure, helping Pitt in two ways.... Davidson moves into the Top 60 in RPI and with a win tomorrow, might move into the Top 50. SBU moves behind Pitt on most bracketologies.

- GW, Houston, Ohio State, and Florida were eliminated.

- South Carolina lost, which moves them behind Pitt on most bracketologies.

- Tulsa lost, which moves them to the edge of elimination.

- Akron and SD State both won... keeping it likely that the MWC and MAC only get one bid each.

That's NINE positive outcomes today.

There were FIVE negative outcomes today.

St. Joe's, VCU, Temple, UConn, and Michigan all won. Michigan and VCU are still likely behind Pitt... St. Joe's, VCU, and UConn could all be right around Pitt, give or take a slot or two.

I suspect there will be a healthy bump in Pitt's chances tomorrow.

You really don't need to keep talking about Akron. They wouldn't be ahead of Syracuse, let alone Pitt.

SDSU I guess is a possibility, but they are behind Pitt now, and they cetrtainly would be behind us with a loss.

We are getting close to the point where you can't make a bracket w/o Pitt. I think we are there.

Gotta love Frank Haith.

Pitt got a lot of help yesterday as you pointed out and by the end of today barring any major upsets it should be clear as day that Pitt is a lock to hear their name called at some point after 6 tomorrow night.
