Who was the highest rated recruit (not necessarily who turned out to be the best player) at each position at Pitt??? Here's my guesses, takes.
QB. Dan Marino. Obviously
RB. Tony Dorsett. Not totally sure here, a bit before my time. But it seems like everyone wanted him.
WR. Baron Jackson was a Parade All American. Was he even higher regarded than Fitz? Jon Baldwin?
TE. Benji Pryor. I believe he was the #1 TE in the nation his SR year.
OL. Bill Fralic. Easy choice, though there were many.
DL. Tougher. Sean Gilbert? Or Chuckie Williams from Freedom?
LB. Curtis Bray?
DB. I dunno, maybe Paris Ford is it? Dante Wiley from Jeannette?
