In the game thread, 10 minutes before it happened, I said that Pitt would get the TD in OT and that Kessman would miss the PAT. I've been a season ticket holder for 35 years and a fan for 45 years.
I always think of the most bizarre way for Pitt to lose before it happens, and it usually happens.
It's my superpower. Unfortunately.
Pitt... as Pitt tends to do... will beat a Top 10 team this year. Miami, ND, or Clemson. It *WILL* happen. It will frustrate the hell out of us when it does, we won't even be able to celebrate it fully.
We all know, deep in our bones, that there will be an improbable Pitt win against one of those three teams. And at least one more "Pitting". Probably against Georgia Tech.
