Gaffney was a big time recruit coming out of the Cleveland area and is leaving Ohio State after only 1 year. We were involved w/ him when He Who Shall Not Be Named was the Coach.
He got some run in the OOC early in the year, but his minutes really fell to basically nothing in Big 10 play.
Gaffney is 6’9 lefty who is more of a 3 than a 4 and would be a sit out transfer. He was right on the fringe of the top 50 coming out of HS.
Not sure if the staff would be interested in this one because they seem to be prioritizing guards to fill out the roster.
