I had the opportunity to attend both the NYC meet coach Narduzzi event, as well as this weekend’s Alumni Golf outing.I can tell you first hand that I have not seen this level of support or this type of “buzz” around the program since the 80’s.

There were well over 200 people in NYC and not just going through the motions, everyone was genuinely excited to be there.

There were over 160 former players in attendance at this year’s golf outing, the highest number in recent memory. Personally, this was the first time I’ve been back since DW’s firing.
There was also a lot of talk about financially supporting the program amongst many of the former players, especially with regard To the facility upgrades currently underway.

Personally speaking, the athletic department and coaching staff are doing a fantastic job of laying out the future vision of the Program and clearly explaining what they need funds for and how these funds will allow them to compete for championships Now, not 5 years from now.

I can tell you that Pitt will have facilities that will be as good or better than any team in the ACC and this will allow them to complete for players with The rest of the ACC, including Florida State.

It’s a good time to be a Panther and will only get better, H2P!
