Pitt's problems most of the time is at QB. If this kid could pass, this would be a decent team.
Running game is good, defense slowed an explosive Cuse team, just QB play is terrible. Maybe
it's poor blocking, always rolling out. If they throw on first down or second and one, they might
have a chance tomorrow, cannot one dimensional.

Drax,

I agree that a good QB makes a huge difference in your ability to compete and win games. However, it also can cover up other warts on the team that aren't so obvious. Bad defense, bad coaching, etc.

In the big picture the most alarming thing I see is a defense that hasn't gotten better in year 4.

How do we know if he can throw the ball when he has absolutely no time whatsoever?

The biggest weakness on this staff is not narduzzi or watson.

It's the OL coach

I still think Pickett is good. I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s the scheme and not the player.
He's literally night and day from when he was thrown in last year (without much chance to work with him) and this year after these coaches had nearly a year to "develop" him. Typically you go from bad to good in that scenario ... of course, it's been the opposite for him.
