We caught up with Prolific Prep (Calif.) center Ibrahima Diallo for some thoughts on his official visit to Pitt over the weekend.
"This weekend was amazing. I had a really nice visit," he said.
Diallo cited "the people" as a big part of what impressed him about seeing Pitt in person.
"The Zoo was amazing and people there like basketball, even (as) they see their team losing. That means a lot."
Diallo plans to visit Ohio State in two weeks and is looking to set up a visit to LSU as well. But Pitt did make a pretty positive impression on him.
"Great city with good people that really like sports [especially] basketball," he said.
We'll keep in touch with Diallo and check in with his coach for more, but it's clear the coaching staff did well this weekend.
