In response to an article by Bruce Feldman highlighting JMU’s success… is this to imply he knows something? Or is this just what he thinks “should” happen?

I assume that’d be the case since, assuming Cignetti doesn’t return next season, we’d need a new offensive coordinator *and* QB Coach.I had no idea Sal Sunseri was Coach Prime's DT coach. I think Shanahan has just as good of a chance of being Pitt's OC next year as Cignetti. Would his QB coach, Tino, come with him? I'd be for it. I like coach's kids.

And Jay Paterno. You like coach's kids except for Coach Frank Cignetti Sr's kids?
That’s what I was getting at in the OP. From the way he phrased it, it sounded as if he knew something. Just wondering if that was the case or it was just speculation on his part.Y’all are treating this as though it’s based in fact. Pure conjecture by Taglianetti.
And Jay Paterno.
You're on a roll today. I'm going to hang up and listen.I am doubling down on saying Pitt should have hired JayPa as a position coach. At that time, with PSU reeling, I felt he could recruit the best PA kids away from PSU. I know everyone thinks this is a ridiculous idea but we had a window and blew it. Would this have been successful? Maybe not but that last name carries weight.
Yes because Jay would have jumped at the opportunity to take a job at his disgraced, dying father’s premiere rival.I am doubling down on saying Pitt should have hired JayPa as a position coach. Jay was a terrible recruiter for PSU. Every single blue chip QB out of PA went elsewhere under his watch and he was often used by other schools as a reason not to go to PSU.At that time, with PSU reeling, I felt he could recruit the best PA kids away from PSU.
I'm pretty sure that most PSU fans would have been very happy to have had this happen.I am doubling down on saying Pitt should have hired JayPa as a position coach. For as much as PSU fans and alums worshipped the old man, they equally dislike Jay.I'm pretty sure that most PSU fans would have been very happy to have had this happen.
Did he not get Morrelli to flip from Pitt to PSU? Of course, hindsight proves that wasn't much of a coup, but he was still a blue chip recruit.Jay was a terrible recruiter for PSU. Morelli? More like a cow chip recruit.Did he not get Morrelli to flip from Pitt to PSU? Of course, hindsight proves that wasn't much of a coup, but he was still a blue chip recruit.
I would only be interested in Shanny as the OC out of this group. His O looks close to what we have now but I think he would be a better recruiter.
Also, why are the Ped St fans always on the Pitt site?
See when off the booze you can post well!I like Shanahan because, like Marion, he is putting up points at a program that doesn't have any advantages over the teams they play. Yea, they were an elite FCS program but at this level, they shouldn't be any better than any random Sun Belt team
Curt Cignetti is the main factor in JMU's offensive success. He's very hands on when it comes to his offense.
Go Dukes!

Inside Cignetti’s Quarterback Influences, Ability To Develop
Shortly after James Madison knocked off Coastal Carolina in the team’s season finale at Bridgeforth Stadium on Nov. 26, Dukes head coach Curt Cignetti started to run through the linewww.dnronline.com
This is such a distortion of reality.I like Shanahan because, like Marion, he is putting up points at a program that doesn't have any advantages over the teams they play. Yea, they were an elite FCS program but at this level, they shouldn't be any better than any random Sun Belt team
