Another name emerges

If Pitt does roll out a 10+ man rotation, it will be a top 25 team. It will mean lack of injuries, arrests, players who can play, and team players willing to take less minutes for a higher goal. Lack of depth led to fatigue and tired legs. Not everyone will be a star, but nothing wrong with 10 healthy bodies a night. There aren’t many Santos right now aside from Barnes/Carrington…A healthy Jeffress is an immediate upgrade over Santos, but does remain to be seen.

Jesse Z visits Oregon tomorrow. Wonder how competitive they will be for his services? Hopefully it all works out. I for one, would like to see us add a big with that last opening, just for insurance. Did not like when Fede went down last year

At this stage, I would consider any school getting a visit this late from the transfer portal a threat to land that player.

I wanted a big too but its not looking all that likely. Maybe a grad transfer fill in.

We are heavy on Alier Maluk at center. Given his age and a weaker 2024 class, I think a reclass is on the table for him to class into 2024. There are some heavy hitters involved with him, but I think we are in pretty good standing today (top 3ish). Oregon is a threat because his cousin went there and Kentucky is monitoring him. This is a very important recruit because based off the future look of our team, we need shot blocking athletes that can rebound on the backline to maximize the potential of the next group of guards.

I don't know what Meleek Thomas will do, but Koa Peat is a reclass option too. George Michalowski reported Peat is cousins with Jamarius Burton, which is pretty interesting.

I think there will be a number of the stud players in 2025 classing up to 2024.
