The Pitt women downed Virginia Tech tonight, 53-35 at the Pete. It was coach Suzie McConnell Serio's 150th career coaching victory. Brianna Kiesel led all scorers with 21, and sat the majority of the second half. Pitt is now 6-5 in the ACC, 16-8 overall, and is 1/2 game behind Syracuse for 7th place, and 1 game behind NC and Miami for 5th. Pitt was picked to finish last overall. Suzie's gotta be the front runner for ACC Coach of the Year.
