A question I've been thinking about for awhile. Was 2017 a step back or a transition year for Pitt football? Obviously going 5-7 and missing a bowl for the first time in 10 years is a step back, but this season also had the feel of a transition, as the roster represented a pretty big break from the players Pat Narduzzi inherited and looked more like the players he recruited.
Obviously the ultimate verdict on this will be rendered in the future, but for now, how are you looking back at 2017?
