Four-star running back Anthony Davis took an official visit to UNC over the weekend and it sounds like the Tar Heels really impressed him.

Going forward, it looks like he won't be visiting USF anymore - Charlie Strong sent two coaches to visit him last week and Davis' high school coach said he would be taking an official visit there later this month - so it's down to Pitt, UNC, Louisville and Oregon. He'll visit Louisville this weekend and then Oregon.

Last week I started hearing that Pitt was doing well with Davis, but the UNC visit seems to have shaken things up a bit (according to what Davis and others have said). Now I'm not really sure where Pitt stands with him; it helps that Damarri Mathis, who is committed to Pitt, is Davis' teammate and cousin. But it doesn't seem like anybody has a great read on what Davis is thinking at this point.

Pat Narduzzi and Josh Conklin will visit Davis and Mathis at Lakeland today. We'll see what comes next.
