Any fool clamoring to hire Sean Miller should read this perspective from AZ

AZ losing is good, maybe we'll get Miller, I want him, I LIKE ARROGANT FVCKS, Him cming here would reinvigorate thee program, him being there will probably fill the Pete for a 2-16 ACC team next year, it would build excitement and get us some recruits. I'd be happy with 20 win seasons and underperforming in the tourney again. I never wanted Dixon to leave personally, I was more indifferent, the problem I had was who they replaced him with.

You realize that, if he came here, he wouldn't be able to have a bag man give $100k checks to recruits right?

How do you know? Hopefully he's got a system to have bagmen that can get the money from the agents and shoe companies to the stud players who can't read, without the feds being able to trace it back to him.

A. He's already proven that he can't do it without the feds being able to trace it back to him.

B. Pitt, for better or for worse, will not accept cheating by their coaches. I think for better, you think for worse. Either way, it won't happen.

"Proven"? When? He's not fired, he denied it and I don't see them pulling out any evidence. And it is FOR WORSE. All the cheaters just collect trophies, money and accolades and then laugh at the slaps they get on their wrists.

Rick Pitino collected trophies...that had to be vacated... he collected accolades, that turned into condemnations....he has sullied his name, and Louisville will be forever tainted.

I have more pride in my school than to have that happen to them. No alumnus would ever agree with you...it is clear that you aren't one.

I LIKE ARROGANT FVCKS, too. Guys that can win with lesser talent because of toughness and attitude.

That ain't Miller, though.

I'd LOVE a vacated trophy, I'd still proudly where my championship t shirt and of course proudly rewatch the DVD of the victory.

"Vacated" is such a laughable thing, REAL EVENTS can never be erased or changed for those that experienced them.

GIVE ME VACATED over 8-24. LOL!

As long as we have followed Pitt, we know (though it may be hard for some to admit), that Miller is not how Pitt rolls....and likely hasnt been given 5 minutes of consideration from Heather (and above).

Hurley is our guy. He is certainly our #1 target with guys like Oats in the mix.

The question today, even with all of this Miller nonsense....is can Heather pull it off and land Hurley?

We should go balls-to-the-wall for Hurley. If that fails, then we decide the next course of action.

I started the thread because one of the writers at Pittsburgh sports now decided it was time to write an article about how Pitt and Miller belong together.
 
If you are blasting Pitts athletic department....you and i could spend an entire afternoon over malted beverages counting the ways we agree.

If you are blasting me for not having interest in Miller.....My thought is a guy like Hurley has the chops to come here and right this ship.

You seem to ignore the warranted interest in solid candidates like oats and hurley....and want Miller because being crooked guarantees success.

On that i guess we will never agree.

But I enjoy your posts and respect your not wavering on where u stand

I actually would enjoy TRYING being crooked and watching a few years of Kentucky like one-and-dones taking off from the foul line for reverse jams on the way to vacated Final 4s, IT WOULD BE MORE FUN than anything Pitt has given us, so I'd take it. It's basically JUST A TV SHOW to me.

I think you might just enjoy the NBA. Everyone gets paid, everyone is a one and done (or better) and with only 30 teams yours may win much more frequently

I don't really have a problem with some side benefits to get good players but we're not going to get Kentucky's NBA lottery picks no matter who the coach is. Even when we more flagrantly paid players, we got more Jason Matthews (who I loved) than Anthony Davis. The smart coach doesn't get caught like Arizona..
 
Miller was not named in the FBI investigation

This only came about from a botched EvilSPN article which EvilSPN had to revise and then unrevise about timing which ended up not making any sense.

Ayton has been cleared by the FBI
 
If it's not Miller, then we need Pitino! This is a disaster, Trib now reporting that EIGHT players are looking to transfer, a BIG NAME COACH is actually needed to avoid 0-30! You now need a SUPER SPLASH HIRE to excite the better players into not leaving.

This game showed that Oats flat out whooped Miller's ass and it wasn't a fluke. Buffalo would beat Arizona 8 or 9 times out of 10.

That was an awesome win for Buffalo last night, but that simply isn’t true. If they played tomorrow Arizona would be favored.

And I'm pretty sure Jacksonville beat the Stiller's twice this year...in Pittsburgh n'at. In fact, Jacksonville leads the all time series 14-11.
Might want to find another bad analogy.
