There are tickets on there way below face value. Tack on some fees, but the net price would be very good. Probably under $20 for lower level, PItt side

Stubhub has thousands for $6. Most of those are people who bought season tickets trying to off load the games that they don't care about. No need to buy from a street merchant.
I gotta say its a little uncomfortable the way they do business but what they are doing is legal and its a business that has a market. Id prefer to buy online but sometimes you get a much better deal with them. Like I needed 2 for Miami because I sold mine on Stubhub for some ridiculous amount like $100 each. The cheapest tickets on Stub were like $40 before fees. I got 2 lowers off a scalper on the 20 for $30 total
Contribute to giving the people who run Stubhub billions, or let a scalper make $10 bucks, if that. Your choice.
yeah, honestly if I didn't have kids, id just go down and wait it out and give someone 5 bucks. different when you have kids though, kids just want to get in there, they don't want to walk around north shore with you while you haggle with a crack addict over 5 bucks, you'd rather just go straight in..
I made the choice, stub hub it is. thanks all and please keep our city clean and safe by not contributing to giving money to scalpers out by the stadium in north shore. Lets work on keeping our city safe..
Do you have a relative or friend that is a scalper? I'm just curious, because everytime that they come up you run to their defense.
I don’t. I think its a great example of capitalism and its finest. Like I said, it can be uncomfortable to deal with them sometimes. I don't want this to get "political" but I think there are other reasons that people dont like scalpers.
they are scumbags, crack heads that pollute my city. all of them, any skin color (yeah, I know you are going there). I work down in north shore and see this filth on pirate and steeler game days and it makes me sick. i would rather buy a drunk homeless guy a bottle of cheap wine than give one cent to any of these clowns. cops need to do a much better job of keeping this garbage further away from the venues.
Yea cause most of them are black. It's ok to say the pittsburgh is still a racist place, because it is. It is a very sad fact that needs to change.

i see a decent amount of white scalpers in Pittsburgh, my disgust is there for them too. it's a racist stereotype to assume all scalpers are black.
I've never seen an Asian scalper though. probably because they all have good jobs and don't need to.
No more or no less than any other city. You are just more familiar with Pittsburgh that is all.

but in any case, every dollar you speculate these dudes use to make the city unsafe will probably have to still be obtained by means much, much more nefarious than selling tickets to a football game..

Some may be crack heads. Most of them work for that big fat dude who drives an Escalade. I cant think of his name but you know who Im talking about. They were talking about him and his ride on The Fan a couple years ago.
Although perfectly legal, that guy is like the Avon for Pittsburgh ticket scalping and most of those guys are his runners, hustlers, etc.
I actually tried to buy a ticket off him for Spurs/Cavs at The Pete years ago. Tickets were extremely highly priced to the piint5 that they hardly sold any (maybe 2K in attendance) so i was going around trying to get a deal from a scalper. That dude was only offering like $5 off face value. I said I could go buy them at the gate. He said something like "I've been doing this longer than you've been alive" and said something else showing he knew I was stuck. I ended buying off him.

My sole concern (besides price) anymore would not be who or what i get em from, but are the tickets legit... and even if original, how do I know they hadn't been electronically transferred to someone else, etc.
Because he's running a cash business and not paying taxes. When one of his "guys" needs care, we're paying. No social security, medicare, state, local, nothing.
That's for the people with legitimate jobs to pay. Right mister left wing? Shut up Mr. White Collar and pay your share. Which includes paying for all the leaches too.
Does your disgust with scalpers extend to legitimate Pitt fans with extra tickets to sell on gameday? That's usually who I buy mine from.
True just like the guys finishing your Man Cave. Lots of cash businesses. Doesn't make it right to cheat on taxes though. That said, not claiming all his income is not the reason he's rich. It just makes him more rich
As long as SMF gets his right? Your only concern is cheap tickets, like they aren't cheap enough already.
