I'll take him right now at the 5 for Pitt, Jamie would have gotten him better in our S and C program.
They are fairly equivalent.
Maverick get a lot more playing time and a lot more shots up
Mav is a volume shooter, but he is also a shooter. I still have reservations about Cam Johnson. I like Luther's potential moreso than Cam. Except, not at the 5. He is not a 5.
Not a bust, just another reach when Jamie whiffed on higher rated targets. Recurring theme here..
I wouldn't take Mav or Mike Lecak. The kid is not very good. Also, I think Cam is gonna be a really good player.
NC State has other problems... namely Cat Barber running amok playing zero defense to go along w/ wingman Rowan who also plays no defense.
Matters little playing teams like Pitt where a frat boy holding a fathead could guard either of Pitt's starting guards.
Maybe -- but I wonder what Cam's numbers would like if he played 33 minutes a game like Maverick.
For comparison, Mav is 12.6 points in 33.4 minutes, Cam is 4.8 points in 9 minutes.
