I was more bothered by the fact that they didn't know what the heck they were talking about.

I'm more upset that both of them were almost competely incompetent, missing badly on many if not most of their comments. Openly rooting for VT when a Pitt loss might have cost the ACC a NCAAT bid was also pretty dumb.

And, has a telecast EVER intentionally not shown so any FT's during the broadcast? It seemed like they were focusing on Buzz or the shooter's face or a crowd shot on almost half of the FT attempts.

If the reports that the league and ESPN wanted the game moved to Tueday and we refused are accurate, maybe the poor production quality was INTENTIONAL.?

Agree, the "older" guy was impressed by our non-con schedule. He said we played Purdue and St Joe's and that toughened our team up by playing such good teams OOC. Duh, we played Div II St Joe's, he thought we played the St Joe's of Philly. Yes he really did a lot of homework for his assignment.

Quite frankly I think the ACC could care less about the makeup of their announcers. I kinda like the southern announcers compared to the Big East NY metro guys!
The only cheer the VT Hawaiian student cheering section had was " air ball air ball" which they even used when the PITT guys were shooting FT's.
I said to my wife how ridiculous yelling air ball on a FT attempt and a little bit later Maia missed the rim on a FT????
