That we win tonight? I actually thought we’d beat BC too, but I think we have a good shot tonight. It better happen tonight because we aren’t beating Virginia or ND.

I haven't thought we would win in any game against a power conf team all year. I'm not sure if it is just hoping these kids get one or if I am just thinking it eventually has to happen, but I do have a feeling that they might win tonight.

If WF shows up, then they are going to destroy us inside. I do not see us winning this game unless we shoot 50% from 3 point range, WF goes away from their inside game, WF misses a bunch of shots, and we decide to rebound and play hard for 40 minutes.

I put $30 on Pitt to win $100. Can't say I'm confident, but I think it's close to 50/50 that they pull it off, so I like the odds I'm getting.

No, I don't think we win and it is definitely not 50/50, but we have a shot in this one. Again, it is going to take a whole game performance of us at our best hitting outside shots and likely them going completely away from their inside game and turning the ball over a lot. I'd say we have a 15-20% chance to win.

We will not beat WF. We aren't winning because most of the teams in the ACC have playmakers, and we don't. We have young, inexperienced players, one or two of whom will develop into playmakers, but who are best-suited right now to playing specific roles. ... Next year, that will change. Ellison and Luther will help tremendously, if we don't screw things up and lose them. Luther will provide an opportunity to get the ball inside when the shot clock is winding down, and Ellison can create his own shot from the perimeter, in the mid-range, and by attacking the rim. I believe Kingsby can create as well (better than either Carr or Milligan, plus he shoots 40%+ from 3) ...

Among WF's strengths is its interior, and we have not performed well against that type of team (if the season ended today, Doral Moore, their 6'11" center would set the all-time ACC record for shooting percentage at 70.6%; he's also averaging 10 rpg). Wake has won 3 of its last 6 and in those three losses, they've lost by a combined total of 22 to Miami, Clemson, and 'Cuse. Meanwhile, they've beaten FlaState, NC State, and GaTech (by nearly 20). This is NOT a good matchup for us. Might we win? Sure. That's possible for every team every night. But it will take a 50%+ 3-point shooting night by our boys, an abysmal shooting night by Wake (their two leading scorers are both shooting 37%+ from 3), and Moore suddenly forgetting how to score around the basket. If I'm Danny Manning, my game plan is for Doral Moore to score AT LEAST 20 points tonight. We have no answer for that, even if our offense produces at the level it did against Florida State.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think we have anyone who could start for Wake. Doesn't mean we cant win but it would be tough

Wait to next year.

If it makes any of "you people" happy, I lost my $20 to win $240 4 team parlay by half of a point tonight.

UNC was -4.5 v. CUSE and won by 4, which was especially fun because CUSE didn't foul down 4 with 3 seconds left. But the best part for some is that my man, Cam, was largely responsible for my loss, as he was utterly dreadful in the last 4 minutes of the game as CUSE stormed back, which is not surprising to some (me).
