Anyone who think Narduzzi lost this team

This is why I’ve always loved Duzz. It was the Carolina loss and his straight up refusal to change defensive schemes that made me turn on him quick. But we started the game in the nickel yesterday and mostly played it and got the win.

I still can’t stand Watson, we had a chance to put the game away several times yesterday and he called some really god awful plays. But I’m warming back up to Duzz, a lot of the reason I lost all hope was because I seriously never thought he would actually change up the defense. I still think 6-6 this year is the bare minimum acceptable record.

Very well said. I want him to succeed so bad, but Damn is he stubborn to fault. Yesterday there were tweaks. Lets hope that continues.

I get the passion, but I would rather see our coach expect to win and not act like his job is on the line

Most head coaches are stubborn.

He ran the wildcat, nickel, changed schemes, we had a lot of wrinkles in yesterday

I agree most are stubborn, but most also evolve with the game and make slight changes here and there. Up till this past Saturday Narduzzi never showed that. Hopefully he is learning (too slow for my liking but i will take it) and this continues.

Yeah, a terribly prepared FBS team got smacked at home by a .500 FCS team.

In his first game as coach after two wrecked recruiting classes.

What is narduzzi’s excuse for losing to an awful UNC team? What is his excuse for embarrassing national TV blowouts in year 3 and 4?

Why do you think a comment about Chryst being a bad coach here is somehow excusing away by where Pitt is today? That Youngstown state team didn't rally late or win in a flukey manner; the dominated Pitt for 60 minutes.

Play Chryst forward another year. He wouldn't have Connor or Peterman. He's mostly likely under .500 playing that year's schedule and on his way to getting fired.

Dont forget you are dealing with the generation of everyone gets a trophy, and wins and losses dont really matter.
Yeah, it's was easy to see from the video clip that nobody cared about getting the win......

No offense but you shouldn't be dog piling after beating Syracuse. A win like that should be followed by a press conference where the coach talks about "being lucky" to get out of that game with a win.
Cuse was 4-1 and almost beat Clemson. It was a gut check for Pitt and a good win. Pitt didn't get lucky. They showed a dominating running attack and won the game on merit not luck.

Chryst would’ve never had peterman. In 2015 with Chryst and voytik I highly doubt we win all off va tech, ga tech, cuse, and l’ville. Likely another season of .500 ball give or take. In 2016 most likely they don’t beat psu either, and there’s no way they beat Clemson.

Chryst is a good coach and did a great job building a solid foundation here. But it was likely gonna take more than 6 years for him to ever be better than 7-6 here.

"Almost" beating Clemson? Syracuse knew Clemson wasn't going to pass with a Freshman QB on the field and they still go gashed for 294 yards on the ground. Did you really think Pitt couldn't run the ball against them? The four wins were certainly impressive. The beat Western Michigan but still gave up over 200 yard on the ground and 42 points. Wagner didn't put up much of a fight and UConn is UConn and still scored 21. Florida State is probably still their best win.

But yeah, gut check. Gimme a break. Only a Pitt fan can turn a close win against a school they dominate into a quality win.

Only a Pitt fan can bitch and moan about good things. You bitch when Pitt loses and also when Pitt wins. I bet you don't get invited to many parties.

Cheese is a great assistant coach, to this day.

first they fought hard for the win and second this:

Could you imagine Paul Chryst doing this?
This is great and it is!

Now Narduzzi has to figure out how to get six wins, go to a bowl, and win the bowl game.

That will make him a cool coach in the Buffett household.

"it's five o'clock somewhere"
Signed: Mr Buffett
Go PITT & CSU Rams!

Personal insults aside, it was Syracuse. You're excited because Pitt beat Syracuse.
I can't imagine how you would have responded if they would have lost. Just because they weren't ranked doesn't mean it wasnt a good win. If Notre Dame had the same schedule and same results coming in they would have been a top 15 maybe top 10 team.I'm not saying it was a pretty win but it was a win against a solid team with legit NFL talent.

Lmao

They won didn’t they....
Wanna bet the Cuse staff wishes they could have been in position to do that.....

You’re confused.....as per usual
They made their own 54 yard field goal.

Cuse scores 17 unanswered to take the lead.

We run a 5 minute offense to settle for s 45 yard field goal to play for overtime.

Coaching is suspect.

Who won

Would the Cuse coaches liked to have had those shots, they would.
Take a knee
You’ve been sacked.......and are just confused.

I’m capable of judging the entire coaching performance, not just the end result.

Dry up, befuddled Paul.

From very early on until the last play of the game Pitt outscored Cuse by 21 points.
Think the Cuse coaches would have loved to get into position to take those FG shots , or just one more.
Bet dat

You are confused.
AGAIN
Who won?
