I was on Temple's campus last year and it has changed since I visited there in 1976 and 1980, and early 1990s. They have really develop the area with the Liacouras Center and come a long way since the Wayne Hardin days. I am told the President is bent on developing more facilities and to get into a Power Conference. They have a remarkable run of very good Coaches and they have higher standards for recruits to qualify.Absolutely stunned that Temple made the list at all for football. Pop Warner's tenure there (that was the last stop in his storied career) must have garnered the Owls some points. (Warner's Owls were chosen for the very first Sugar Bowl.)
