Are bowl games meaningless?

My thought regarding Pitt and non-CFP bowl games is this: I expect the players that do decide to play to be fully invested, play their hardest and give their all to try to win the game.

I understand some of the decisions and reasons that go into bowl game rosters these days. I don’t always necessarily agree with what’s happening now across college football in this regard.

But I have no input being just a fan and an observer. Nor should I.

Maybe it will occur to whoever it needs to that opinions vary. Clearly it matter to some. And also clearly it means little to nothing to others.
