I miss Toney. He was my favorite player in the Chapel era.
Every time I watch a hoop game at any level the offense is trying to make something happen. Passing, cutting, screening, whatever. Capel’s teams seem to dribble around waiting or hoping for something to happen. I certainly can’t explain it in Xs and Os but Pitt’s offense stands out - and certainly not for anything good.
There was a stretch of bad calls in favor of Arkansas, including the no call on the clothesline. Also, it was a joke!

Arkansas did get away with a trip and toney stepped out of bounds before a three was made. Also a questionable foul on Gonzaga’s hempfield

He altered Timme's shot when it was 4 point game under a minute too. Awesome game from him.
Also, I don’t think I’ve ever seen a team press the inbounding team when ahead like that. Ended up working out because the trailer got the game-sealing block.
They signed Mussleman for 2.5m now extended at 4m. Alot thought he was weird with all the transfers lol.
He was the guy I was hoping we’d hire. He is a professional coaching at the college level. He runs a lot of great sets and mixes up his defenses very well.
