So we've been in college football's "golden age?" Shudder to think what a downturn will mean for us...

Couldn't resist. Fwiw I think an 8-4 would be fantastic to set the Duz era on a great start. Pretty pessimistic however. Too many battle scars.

Yeah, if we had an easier schedule I would say 9 or 10 wins, but not knowing what our defense can do, and based on last year's horrid defense I think 8-4 would be good

I think 8 wins is a reasonable and achievable goal this year. I am also convinced we could have easily won 8 last year so my prediction is 9-10 wins, counting the bowl game. Why not?

I'd really take that. That would be a nice debut season, and it would be a nice incremental increase for fans and recruits.

I see 8-4 as kind of the ceiling.
A bowl win on top of it would look awful nice.

8-4 would be cool. 3-1 in ooc with loss to Notre same and a 5-3 acc record. I could be cool with that.
