Awesome game ND at Texas

Great idea moving game to Sunday night. Should be a staple for labor day weekend if nfl doesn't kick off yet

why would teams schedule real opponents in week 1 when they don't have to? I mean, why would you want to play someone not named villanova or Youngstown state on espn 8 which is picked up by most laptops and I-pads? who wants to play competition that is picked up on actual tv, that's for chumps.. There are dozens of people that will log onto a website to watch you scrimmage, what are these teams thinking about?

Buchele better than I thought. Being a freshman and knowing he was going to be replaced throughout the game I didn't expect him to play so well.

Still not sure this means UT is back, don't really believe in Strong, and think they have too many holes on defense to compete for a conference title.

Except most of those teams just play the chumps in week 2.
Notre Dame plays Nevada next week. Texas plays Utep.
Same thing.

Texas sucked last year. Lots can change in college football in one year. Frosh QB making plays. Frosh Center on the OL making plays and taking charge of the line. QB and OL can make a difference in year one, despite what you constantly read on this board.

They have a lot or talent and speed, that's for sure.

They've been playing Sunday games on Labor Day weekend for years. Oddly enough, pretty much ever since the NFL moved the start of the season to the following weekend.
