Reading the pregame posts before the game against NCS the following must be true today.

1. Several Pitt “fans” are homeless and living under rocks because they “bet the house” on NCS covering the spread. Is a go fund me page a better option than letting them go homeless?

2. Pitt fans who bet on Pitt should be rolling in dough. Maybe they can loan money to the homeless fans so they can live somewhere other than under rocks. Please let them stay there.

3. Pitt was down by 10 at half with its best player trying to force the issue. One guy was going to tune out if down by 20 at half. He stuck around and saw a team put up a helluva fight.

4. Losing sucks, but I’ve yet to see a post about the Ts drawn by JUSTIN. By my math they equaled the margin of defeat. I thought the hanging on the rim was a power trip by the refs especially when Funderbirk hung on the rim a few minutes later with impunity.

5. The silver lining to yesterday’s loss is that it silenced the “sky is falling” crowd until they gather their venom for the next game. I’ll take a 12 hour respite when I can get it.

6. If you predict the end of the world every day you eventually will be right.

7. I loved watching yesterday’s game. It was more fun than beating Duke for me because every guy left cared about the team. I love seeing teams come together.

8. I’m going home shopping today.

I definitely thought NC St was going to cover easily, the matchup inside was really problematic.

That wasn't to slag on the players, just did not look good.

It was a good game, for sure.

I just posted about the first tech on JC, which was criminal, on the payside.

I did not like the hanging on the rim, we have seen worse from other teams this year that did not get the T, they usually let that go, but I can see how they called it.

Yeah, I didn't see it live, went back during the next commercial break and rewatched it. He definitely slapped the backboard, and it is certainly possible that he (or someone else) has done that this year and it was not called, but that it supposed to be pretty much an automatic technical.
