Fauci did an interview with the New York Times in which he said that right now there is no way to guarantee safety and we should most likely go without any major sports this season. He said that needs to continue until we have enough coronavirus testing measures in place to conduct broad evaluations of the public and quick results.
Right now he said we are not close to that and safety is the number 1 priority.
Well I think a lot of us kind of figured that but now Fauci is all but declaring that sports won't be happening this year. Not sure if he feels we can't have sports in some of 2021 also but regardless, what a downer.
I'm sorry but after Dr. Fauci' comments there is no way ANY of these leagues are gonna risk starting up again, fans or no fans.
