Pitt gets swept by NCSU, loses 9-2

Pitt at 11-15 now has the worst overall record of the 14 ACC baseball teams. BC was closest to us but they swept Duke this weekend. Hoopies come to town mid-week and Notre Dame comes in for 3 games next weekend.

Not to make matters worse, but NC State played ALL Freshman in the lineup and pitching today!

The Pitt softball team which had been doing really well on the year got a lesson in softball at FSU this weekend also. FSU won all 3 games, 8-0, 7-0, and 3-0. 18 runs to zero and for the entire 3 games, Pitt only managed to get 7 hits total.
