BASEBALL - 4/15/18 - Pitt takes 2 out 3 from GT ......

Pitt lost the 1st game of the 3 game series 7-3, then won game 2, 4-3 in 14 innings yesterday and won 6-5 today !

Pitt now 19-14 overall and improved to 8-10 in the ACC.

Other key news is that ND, VT, and UVA all lost their series' and BC got swept! Right in the thick of things. ND and Miami are very winnable series for Pitt. Clemson and Lou will be tough, but I definitely think 2-4 or better in those 6 games would be huge.

I do not think a 14-16 conference record--or better, is out of question. Historically, Jordano's teams have struggle in May, but this team has a deeper bullpen which is invaluable down the stretch.
