Anyone on the Lair sit there? Pros? Cons? Prefer over regular season tix?
I did it last year and enjoyed it. Most games they had loge seats available because it wasn't full.

I've always enjoyed that area and view going back to when it was the porch.

This will be our 3rd year sitting there. Really like it. Only con is that you can't give your tickets to anyone. Use it or lose it. We go to pretty much all the games so it's not an issue.

This was the first year I bought season tickets since Covid but I forgot I got the IC Light monthly passes when they got good last year so I dont know if that counts or not. Overall, it was a great value. Downside is you better get there early for the good games or else you are standing in a mosh pit. This wasn't an issue last year except for the Syracuse game. This year, I'd expect a fairly good number or large-ish crowds so get there early to get one of those loge seats.

They changed the program significantly this year. Last year I was a member because you were able to claim seats in the club level stands if they were empty and I got tickets there every game. Now you can only claim seats in the IC light loge which are still good but a pretty clear downgrade

Most of the tickets elsewhere are sold, that's why. About 1000 remain per my count. Though I counted a few months ago and only 500 remained then so they play games with that seating demand ticket site.

I’m glad that they’re selling more tickets but bummed I won’t get those seats for cheap. I must’ve saved thousands last year

Yea I know. I was getting a little excited when it was showing like 500 tickets in August thinking maybe it might sell out. But if there truly are only 1000 tickets left, that's still outstanding.

If we've sold 7-8,000 season tickets that would be great. Way more than I would have expected.

One thing to keep in mind about any map of season ticket availability is that they are and have been selling mini-plans. So there are some number of seats that are not available as season tickets because they have been included in someone's five game (or whatever they are this year) plan, but those seats would be available as a non-season ticket for all the rest of the games.

But I admit, I have no idea how many of those plans they sell.

Right but they just started selling those and I doubt they sold more than a couple dozen if that. I would like to think the seating map is correct but I am little skeptical because lets say there really were 1000 left, you would think they would inform the media of this so they can write a "Pitt close to selling out the Pete" article to get people hyped about the season and to sell a few more.
