How many shots did BC take down field?
That is what the Pit offense should look like.

BC threw several of those deep passes up and #4 went and got it.
Ugh... we've been watching this for 6 years now! This is how you beat Narduzzi's defense and news flash... it happens nearly every week. The only times his defense works... is against QB's like Syracuse/Louisville. Even borderline mediocre QB's like Pitt has faced the past 2 weeks have success.
Narduzzi's big flaw is his reliance on mediocre CB's in man coverage. Even good DB's like Maddox struggle. He either needs to recruit 4-star DB's or GTFO.
We have had drops, but what some people are labeling drops borders on the ridiculous.and the one time we did take a shot was on 3rd & 2 around midfield when keeping the drive going was critical. I think as usual the ball did hit the receiver in the hands and was dropped.
Go get it? On the first two TDs their receiver was wide, wide open.I would love more deep shots, but we have nobody that can go get a football. We also don't have a QB with the poise to stay in the pocket and look downfield and find a good matchup.
BC threw several of those deep passes up and #4 went and got it. Even the last TD was just lobbed into the middle of the end zone. Our guys have to me wide open to catch anything, and even then they're likely to drop it.
Hamlin & ford fit that job description.

The pay you mention was a possible catch. Barden could have tried to get the ball earlier and shield the defender off. That could have made it a more difficult catch. As it was, the defender got a hand in as the catch was being completed.
That is not a drop.
