I really like this dude Good interview

I’m sure he’ll be here at least a few years but at some point teams are going to look at him as their next HC.

Liked what he said about Eli’s pocket presence. It was clear in the fist game that he has a feel for the pocket that is rare.

Not sure how good this team will be but at least the offense is now entertaining and gives them a chance to win unlike the last few years under Cigs

I think Duzz hit a home run with Bell

I've liked the hire since day 1. Western Carolina is just outside of Asheville so it gets a lot of local coverage. I knew his offenses were good. The only question I had was how independent he was from his father in the play-calling role. He's proven to me that he's good at that.
He’s a breath of fresh air.

it's nice to see Holstein moving "away" from pressure and stepping up into the pocket. For years i watched Pickett actually go into pressure until his senior year and it was frustrating. To Kenny's credit, his sr year, he finally figured it out.

Good to see Eli grasp this early in his career. Such an under valued skill set, "pocket presence" in a qb.. when to step up, when to go left/right and when to take off..

So far, so good. But still a very small sample size.
His offense looks like the kind we all have wanted for years. Fun, fast, exciting.

What's not to like so far? Plus he carries himself well in front of the cameras.
Definitely a guy to keep an eye on as Nardawg ages.

What I’ve liked most so far - and it is still very early in the season and also in Bell’s tenure here as an OC and play caller - is that the offense has looked very extemporaneous. Creative. Plays called in real time based on what KB is seeing and feeling from both his own team and the D.

The 38 yard TD pass to Mumpfield with just 10:48 left in the 4Q and Pitt tailing by 14 at the time was a perfect example. 4th down and 2. Pitt clears the left side and runs Konata across the field from right to left into the void. Great call. Great throw and catch.

Miss that and turn the ball over at that point? Pitt probably loses. But Bell had the conviction to call what he did. And the players backed him up. These are plays Pitt has clearly practiced and prepared for. They are in the repertoire. But it’ll be tough for the D to guess what and when Bell may dial things up.

I’m a big fan of Kade Bell. Love his passion and enthusiasm. His offense “scheme’s” guys open - how refreshing.

And he offered Desmond Reid as a Soph. in high school, so he knows what he’s looking for.

I say in 4-years he’ll be one of those hot coaching names that big schools, and even the NFL, are coming after. Hoping he’s Pitt’s next head coach. In like 10 years he’s calling plays in the NFL…

Go Pitt.

Too soon to know. Be patient.

Hope we can keep him from Colorado and others, if Pitt has a great year and Holdstein throws for 4,000 yards.

Just curious, what is Bell's

What is the length of Bell's contract & how much is he making?

Tbh, if he's successful, I think he will be hard to keep around beyond 2 or 3 years.
