Ben DiNucci got everyone fired-up after Quadree Henderson broke off that bubble screen for 75 yards --- but then the Downfield Throws starting coming.
It seemed like every pass DiNucci threw past 10 yards was about to be picked-off. D-Backs were like predators breaking like Hawks-on-Mice on all his passes.
DiNucci rears all his body-weight onto his back foot, then flips out the ball leaning back on all his throws. It works great on the screens and touch throws, but is an Achilles Heel for making downfield throws at the ACC level.
You can't really "Coach Out" that habit -- QB's who do that are always going to revert to it.
I guess DiNucci is the New No. 1 and preps there all week? Hopefully T-MacVittie aka Sumurai Mac (dunno lol but he seems like he needs a nick-name) is prepping full time as the No. 2 now and gets some reps with the first team.
