Johnson - McGowens????Webber-Howard.
Carmelo-McNamara.
Miller-Matthews.
I just hope those two can take us to the NCAAs next season.

First two fell short in the tournament though.

Statistically - they are our best duo. Others of interest.
Smith, Gore
Miller, Matthews
Knight, Zavackas
Young, Fields
Blair, Brown
Adams, Robinson
Trey and X need at least two guys that play equal to what they did as freshman this year to have any chance at the NCAA tourney next year. And one of the new guys must play the 4 or 5 and guard a big and rebound.
No way he’s better than both trey and X at least. He’s not a great defender and is limited athletically. Of course would want him to return though
X was our best. Frame was our only 3 point shooter and he was consistent. Trey was either very good or non existent.
Not even sure that we should call Blair Brown a freshman duo since Brown was a redshirt freshman.
Ricky Greer and Atilla Cosby deserve mention.
But Pitt's best freshman duo was certainly Smith and Gore.
