I like the hire if I'm Duquesne. Dru is the son of a legendary coach and has that "LeBron juice." I'm not sure what that is worth exactly but lets say he gets Bryce James or even Bronny now that Enfield is gone, that is gigantic if you are Duquesne. They are still Duquesne. Perhaps a phone call from LeBron on a recruiting visit swings the tide for a kid choosing between LaSalle, Kent, and Duquesne.

I must be getting old. Had a hard time remembering Porter even coached at Duquesne.

It will be Dru, but not by much. Disaster hire for Duquesne. Maybe they’ll get 3 pairs of Lebrons this year!

I forgot DJ Porter was a D1 recruit. Checked and he averaged 6 PPG his senior year at St. Francis Brooklyn.

The Lakers play in Brooklyn on Sunday and in Toronto on Tuesday so I'm guessing the LeBron's will be at the Palumbo Center, or whatever they call it now, on Monday.
