I'm not sure people appreciate how bad some of these teams we're losing to are. You can write Pitt football off for at least five years or so. This team has quit on the smug price. Quitters and sissies and transfers, oh my!

And you are the one saying it would be a disaster if we have mass transfer. Our players suck. Mass transfers dont matter. We are Majors 2. Its going to be 5 or so years before we can get to a 7-5/8-4

There isn't much difference between 1996 and this season. That team played a tougher schedule and won 4 games I think. They looked worse against OSU, Miami and Cuse than this team did against ND, NC and FSU but that team went 4-4 vs the rest of the schedule which was comparable to most of our schedule this year.

They looked worse against OSU, Miami and Cuse than this team did against ND, NC and FSU but that team went 4-4 vs the rest of the schedule which was comparable to most of our schedule this year.

Exactly right. The schedule was harder and that’s why the losses looked worse. That team never lost TWO games to teams that had no QB

at least the 96 team beat the jabroni's on the schedule, 2023 hasn't done that. Add in the humbling by ND, plus no one else on the schedule like OSU in 96 and I'd say it is a toss-up for the worse season, 2023 or 1996

I was sadly in attendance at all the 1996 games…honestly, those guys tried much harder. They simply were woeful as far as actual talent but they had more heart. These guys likely have more ‘talent’ but are absolutely gutless and pathetic. Plus let’s remember that most of these guys are getting paid, at least something anyway.

He also was a guy of minimal talent but a tough kid with heart. Jurk and Veilleux have no heart or guts
