It is no secret that the ACC is down this year. However, in the latest bracketology by Joe Lunardi, he has 11 teams from the B10 and 4 from the ACC in the tourny.
Many of the B10 teams he has in the tourny have 7 - 10 losses. I have heard people say that the conference is so strong that they are all beating up on each other. In the ACC/B10 challenge, the B10 won 8 and the ACC won 6. That is hardly a far superior conference dominating a little sister conference. In the unbiased RPI (which does take into account strength of schedule) the B10 has 1 school in the top 25, the ACC has 3.
Where is all of this B10 love coming from this year? I've believed that a B10 bias has existed on the gridiron, but have never seen it like this on the hard court.
