2024 Brockton (Mass.) athlete Cameron Monteiro tells me he will be at Pitt this weekend for an official visit.
Monteiro is one of the more intriguing athletes I've seen in the class of 2024. He lines up as basically a Wildcat quarterback - he attempted 32 passes and 103 rushes last season - and while he calls himself a receiver, he could play a bunch of positions in college, from receiver to safety to even outside linebacker (we know how the Pitt staff likes athletes on that side of the ball).
Monteiro visited Virginia last weekend and has an official visit scheduled to Kentucky for next weekend. We'll see what other visits he has planned and we'll try to confirm his position, but he's really intriguing.
