Man, I really wish we had a game Monday against “easy victory directional state college” prior to playing Carolina. This break seems to be extremely long based on my fading recent memory.

Let the kids go home for Christmas and get a rest. They'll be better served for the conference grind.
I can’t recall ever only playing two games across a nearly three week period before.
On one hand, you could say that things haven’t worked out doing things the way that we’ve been doing things previously, so what not?
But on the other, unless big man gets his mind and body right and/or Dior rejoins the team, we’re not going to get much rest over the remainder of the schedule for a team that seems settled into a 7 man rotation.

Actually- a 10 day break is fairly common. We had one three years ago. I can also remember one during the 13-14 season. The year before that, it was only an 8 day break and my family squeezed in a Xmas trip to Disney World just inside that break. We actually flew home and drove straight to the Pete to watch Pitt lose to Cincy.
Its better to get teams like UNC early. They dont start playing until February.
