Another big recruiting weekend with Dayon Hayes and three 4 star kids including former PSU verbal Aaryn Parks who is rated as a top 10 OT. If Pitt gets Parks I wonder what excuses the PSU nut jobs will come up with...

3 stars, 4 stars or whatever...but it seems Pitt is getting more kids to visit who are being recruited by many “big name” schools.

Yes this weekend is in many ways the MKe important of the weekends

Have some big time players coming in

WR Jordan Addison 6’0 160 from MD visited twice already. Lists offers from Notre Dame, Maryland, South Carolina, VT, UVA, WF, Syracuse. I’d look for a commit here.

DT Clyde Pinder 6’2 295 from FL. Four star has offers from WVU, VT, ASU, BC, Nebraska, UNC, Minn, Illinois, UCF, USF, Penn St. Decent chance for a commit here.

OT Aaron Parks 6’5 294 from MD. Top 100 recruit has many top offers. It’s a long shot but narduzzi is a closer and just getting him on campus is big. Would be biggest commit since Ford.

DE Dayon Hayes 6’3 250 from Pittsburgh PA. Westinghouse product has visited many times.
Has blown up and now has offers from many P5 programs including Ohio St. Would be a huge commitment locally.

DE Timothy Brown 6’3 260 from FL.
Big DE has a lot of offers, FSU, UF, Nebraska, Auburn, Missouri, WVU, Syracuse,
WF, Ole Miss, PSU, etc.

WR Aydin Cunningham 6’1 200 from FL. Four star has offers from Ohio St, UF, Auburn, Tennessee, NC St, South Carolina, Kentucky, Louisville, Nebraska,
Miss St. First visit anywhere.

TE Josh Rawlings 6’6 230 from Woodland Hills HS. This will be his fourth visit here. Visited UVA last weekend and is headed to Minnesota today. Other offers include WVU, Syracuse, Vanderbilt, Rutgers, Iowa St.

LB AJ Roberts 6’1 210 from NY. Offers from LSU, BC, Duke, Purdue, Rutgers Syracuse. Wouldn’t be surprised by a commit here. LB class is filling up fast.

It’s almost a shame this will likely be a small class because I think the staff is doing a pretty good job getting in on high quality recruits

Lots of talent in this group. Brown is listed as a DE by rivals but is actually a DT (reminds me of Camp, a DT who can play DE) 24/7 has him listed as a DT and his film shows this. I bring him up because as you said this is a small class and say him and Pinder want to verbal there may not be space for 2 DT’s. Hayes is the one DE that Pitt will hold an offer for no matter what. With this being a small class Pitt is actually going to have to turn away some talent.

Land several and will be a big recruiting weekend

The Coastal division is recruiting very well. Miami, NC and GT (of all people) are pulling in some nice classes. We are about even with Virginia. Would be nice to grab some of these 4 star kids as well as solid 3's.

We need the sleeper cell of the golden panthers to emerge and make some things happen :)

GT is in a hotbed of talent, moreso than Pitt IMO. Their previous regime had an idiosyncratic offense that turned away a lot of pro prospects on that side of the ball. I expect them to start pulling more coveted kids, at least on offense, for the next few years.

Pitt jumped from 77 to 45 after this weekend. Another 20 spots after next weekend would be nice...

If we can land Parks, with Statham already verbelled, that is 2 excellent bug linemen.

Really if we get a couple of this list it will be a very good year recruiting wise. It already is markedly better than last year at this time IMO
