Also, the ACC was 3-1 vs the SEC this Bowl season and went 9-4 against the SEC overall for the season. The ACC is clearly the best conference this season.

If Penn state beats USC they will end up #3 in the final Polls. If Wisconsin beats Western Michigan they will end up #5. If Iowa beats Florida they will be in the top 25 along with Michigan and Ohio State in the Top Ten, this gives the Big Ten still 4 Top Ten Teams?

On the other hand, if they lose then no question the Big ten was the bIg PREtenD in 2016, and Pollsters will have to re-examine why they voted the Team so high after playing MAC, AAC, and Big preTend Teams more than any other Power 5 Conferences???

Wisky is playing a MAC Champ, and Florida's offense is bad. The Big 10 should win those games. If PS beats USC, then that would be impressive.

No matter what happens, Wisconsin is not anywhere near a top 5 team. That is unbelievably hilarious. They beat an overrated lsu team and that kept them near the top of the rankings all season. They gave OSU a decent game, but Clemson, Washington, or Alabama would all destroy them to no end.

That is the honest truth. Never said anything at all about any conference. Just said Wisconsin is overrated. They are, none of that other stuff I even mentioned.

I gave credit to the ACC. However, the only way to truly evaluate this is to see the teams that play. Teams that play up are at a disadvantage. Va Tech and Pitt both played down. Northwestern is and has been a dangerous team for a number of years. I was at the Belk Bowl, and Tech had all they could handle. They didn't want to be there, and that affected them. Same with Michigan, but they never quit. OSU, well, they need a qb, and a bit of experience. They'll be back, as they have way too much talent. LSU, they are loaded with talent. MI and GA are loaded for bear as well. All will be strong.

This. OSU may be a bit higher than they should be. However, the fact is, they got beat by a better team. OSU never put it together this year, but they will, and everyone knows it. MI, may take a step back for a year, but that's it. 5 points in 3 games kept them undefeated. I don't know if that's ever happened.

Wisc is getting a " freebie" playing a non P5 W Michigan.
I don't understand why a team like W Michigan would be ranked as high as they are given the schedule they play. Compare their schedule to the PITT schedule?
Except today in the PC environment everyone gets a chance even if they don't deserve it!

I disagree, Pat Fitzgerald is a very good coach, he has most of his Players back in 2017, they always execute and he did beat Franklin 4 times, 2 Vandy and 2 PSU, Pitt lost 3 Players that help them win close games and that was the difference. NU ran all over Pitt Defense too. NU earned that win. NU almost beat Ohio State too?

Penn state has the more incentive to win the Rose Bowl to prove the CFB Committee outright wrong. I think it is the Best Match Up on bowls just behind:

1. BAMA-CLEMSON:
Everyone knew this was going to be the rematch pretty much. Bama should repeat since i saw some flaw in Clemson's Play Calling against OSU. Could be wrong but Clemson played a tad undisciplined compared to Bama.

2. PENN STATE-USC:
Best Two Teams that played the best CFB after Game 4. Both will display great games, coming off of NCAA Sanctions, and both like to win Bowl Games. This could be a prelude to Top 4 teams in 2017 or it will expose Helton not a Great Coach with 60 Four & Five Stars Recruits,or Penn State Spread not all it thought can be against a Good Defense? Clemson destroyed the OSU Spread running Game. All I know is McSorley is always confident, comes back after big hits NEVER QUITS, and in my opinion should have been considered a Heisman Candidate? We shall see?

3. FSU-MICHIGAN:
The game ended by 1 point, enough said. Michigan barely lost by 1, 3 and 1 points, Pitt close second in losing by 7,1,3,and 7 points and only Miami took them out by the 4th Quarter. This was agood match up in the Second place Teams in Big-Ten and ACC! The better match up is USC-PSU to me.

4. PITT-NORTHWESTERN:
PITT cannot afford to lose its QB anytime and win. End of story! NU earned the Win too.....no excuses. Matt Canada's mind was on LSU not Pitt too!

5. MIAMI-WVU:
Miami was underrated and went through a 4 game Losing streak but they have the Talent to beat anybody anytime. WVU beat nobody and barely beat KSU by 1 point? The Big-12 needs broken up it is a joke in NFL Draft Picks was behind ACC & Big East way back in 1990s and early 2000s.
