Yeah, sort of a streaky team with good home wins (9-0 at home) and some puzzling road losses.
Beat ranked UNC and FSU at home, lose to UVA, Duke, and VTech on the road. They're so close. Getting a win Sunday at home against Miami would be huge. Giant game at Louisville next week.
RPI was at 56 before the FSU (RPI 15) win. That doesn't get them in the tournament, but they have some games where they can pick up some more ground: Miami (RPI 37), @ Louisville (RPI 18), @UNC (RPI 32), Virginia (RPI 42).
The worst loss was at Duke. Won the first 2 sets and tied 20-20 in the third and serving. Lost and then collapsed in the last two sets.
If they win both remaining home matches and can split the two road matches, they should be in. But, their Jekyll and Hyde season is troubling. They aren't going to play a home match in the tourney if they make it.

There are going to be a lot of Pitt fans in Durham the weekend of the 13th–14th for the Duke football game. It would be cool if some of us can get to the Friday night or Saturday night match.
They had a nice lead in the first set, and let it slip away. They were back on their heels the rest of the way.
Beat NC State tonight in five sets. While that is not a good win, it beats the alternative, which would have been an awful loss.
Also swept ND 3-0 so they finished the road trip 2-2. Probably need to win the final four -- all at home -- to get in. But they should win all four if they play well.
