It's spring game draft day. At noon, the players will be drafted out to the Blue and Gold rosters to make up the teams for Saturday's spring game.
The process started yesterday, when Pat Narduzzi named Frank Cignetti head coach of the Blue Team and Charlie Partridge head coach of the Gold. From there, those two drafted the rest of the staff and one captain for each team. Here's what that looks like.
Historically, the two coaching staffs have then drafted the seniors to each roster. Today at noon, the two groups of seniors will draft the rest of the roster - so the players are picking the players. The draft will happen by position, so whichever team is up to select will "open" a position and then the teams will go back and forth and draft out the rest of that position. Each round is a position, basically.
